Frequently asked questions
Why do Discortics giveaways use reactions instead of buttons?
Reactions never hit Discord’s interaction pipeline, so entries cannot fail with "This interaction failed". Discortics checks eligibility in the background, removes ineligible reactions, and DMs the member the reason.
Is giveaway customization free?
Yes. Custom entry emoji, embed colors, banners, role multipliers, and entry requirements are all available on the free public bot.
Can I start a giveaway quickly?
Yes. The drop command starts a giveaway with one command, using your server’s configured defaults.
Can winners be rerolled?
Yes. Rerolling replaces the winners of an ended giveaway and announces the new result.
